Wanna read tips from a noob? Haha. You might say that this is not a tip and not necessary to blogging. But think, look around and read. Most of the blogs outthere have this
ABC, well me too. Look up in my navigation bar, I have the blogging ABC. What is this blogging ABC?
A- About page :Where you introduce yourself, your blog, your topics etc. It gives your reader a brief background of who you are, where you from, what you usually do, when did you start the blog, why you are blogging. A good about page gives your reader a good impression about you and your blog and this might trigger their interest to browse your other pages.
Gee, I'm not yet done with my about page.B- Blogroll :Where you show-off your link-exchange list. Some bloggers display their link list on the blog's main page and it makes the blog look unclean when the link list becomes too crowded. And displaying link in the main page might lower your pagerank. So its a good idea to have a separate link list page.
C- Contact page :Includes your email, your social networking address etc. This might be included in the about page but some blogger have a contact form, so another page must be alot to it. And there's lotsa social networking site, your about page will be crowded if your social networking addresses are included in it. Posting your social network link is good for bloggers who want to connect closely with their readers.
